San Jose Dance Theatre’s Mission is to foster the art of dance
through our annual production of The Nutcracker.
While dancer participation fees and ticket sales
support the ongoing production, donations enable us to update costumes, sets and support our ability to have a live orchestra.
We greatly appreciate your donation

San Jose Dance Theatre has been a key contributor to the South Bay art scene for 50 years.

Your donation will help us keep the magic alive and continue to serve the community.

Sasha De Sola and Tiit Helimets from San Francisco Ballet performing in San Jose Dance Theatre’s 2014 Nutcracker Production. Professionals in the local arts community are supported by our Nutcracker production, including dancers, musicians, and theater crew. Dancers from our academy have progressed into professional companies both locally and worldwide.

Our outreach program brings the art of dance to thousands of school children through school visits, Girl Scouts workshops, and a highly discounted morning showing of The Nutcracker that brings in busloads of children from local schools and community groups.

This is our 51st year bringing audiences into San Jose.  Before and after our shows, performers, volunteers, and audience members visit downtown shops and restaurants, contributing to the local downtown economy.

These services to the South Bay community have continued through the decades thanks to our dancers, volunteers, and donors.

Any donation you can provide will be appreciated.
