Age 12-20. Advanced dancers, or SJDT dancers entering Level 5, 6
Audition Registration: 12:30-1:00pm
Audition: 1:00-2:30pm
Ladies, please bring pointe shoes.
Age 8-11. Intermediate dancers or SJDT dancers entering Level 3, 4
Audition Registration: 2:30-3:00pm
Audition: 3:00-4:30pm
Ladies, please bring pointe shoes, if you have danced on pointe.
The 3-week Summer Intensive program will be June 18 to July 7, with an in-studio showing at 6pm on July 7. The Summer Intensive is appropriate for ages 8-18, or approximate SJDT levels 3-6. The 2018 Summer Intensive is designed to heighten your ballet skills under the direction of San José Dance Theatre’s professional dancers and instructors. Whether you aspire to dance professionally or simply want to improve your skills in a friendly, nurturing environment, this 3-week program provides comprehensive and rigorous training that significantly strengthens ballet technique within a short period of time. Auditions are open to the public.
