Ballet classes from Pre-Ballet through Advanced.
SJDT’s 2023-2024 academy term offers classes for dancers from Pre-Ballet through Advanced. Our youth division is designed for children aged 5-11 with an emphasis on Vaganova technique. At the advanced levels, dancers receive higher level training with a well-rounded ballet education with exposure to various training techniques including Vaganova, Cecchetti, ABT, Balanchine, and beyond.
Creative Movement for Toddlers
Ages 3-4
Students are introduced to the basic concepts of dance in a fun and creative way. Dancers develop coordination, motor skills, and musicality all while learning socialization skills of being in a group class. An emphasis is placed on demonstrating the joy of dance and learning through play and imagination! Dancers must be potty trained.
