Jeremy is 17 years old, and will be a senior in high school this fall. Jeremy has always been homeschooled and gets to turn his brain from calculus to combinations most afternoons at SJDT.
Jeremy started seriously dancing when he was 14, and has enjoyed Nutcracker roles such as the Nutcracker Prince, Harlequin, Russian dancer, Chinese Lion, and his favorite part ever, the Mouse King. Jeremy loves to bring character roles to life and performing on stage with all his friends.

Jeremy came to dance after swimming for years, and appreciates the amount of concentration, effort, and discipline required for dance. Every day brings new challenges and the teachers, especially Artistic Director Linda Hurkmans, encourage him to stretch (literally) to new heights. Having male classes and partnering classes with David Fonnegra is a highlight of SJDT for Jeremy.

Jeremy’s other interests are programming computers, designing video games, vintage game consoles, reading science fiction, and classic 80s music. He will be off to college to study computer science next year, but hopes to always keep a foot in the dance world as a recreational performer.
