Ages 5–8 • No previous ballet experience required • Boys and girls welcome

When school is out, the magic of dance continues! Join SJDT for two enchanting three-day winter adventures combining ballet, music, storytelling, imaginative movement and hands-on art. Young dancers build coordination, musicality, confidence and friendships while bringing beloved storybook worlds to life.

The Elves and the Shoemaker

December 21–23, 2026 (Monday–Wednesday) | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Ages 5–8

What happens in the shoemaker’s workshop after everyone has gone to sleep? Tiny, helpful elves arrive to make beautiful shoes—and a little magic! Inspired by the classic fairy tale, young dancers explore lively footwork, graceful arms, musical rhythms, playful mime and teamwork. Each day adds a new chapter, a new creative project and a little more of our cheerful Elves’ Workshop Dance. On Wednesday, families are invited to enjoy a short in-studio sharing.

Highlights: Story ballet • Beginner ballet technique • Creative movement • Acting and rhythm games • Story-inspired crafts • Final family observation

The Frozen Kingdom & The Ice Palace

December 28–30, 2026 (Monday–Wednesday)  |  9:00 AM–12:00 PM  |  Ages 5–8

Journey through a snowy forest, glide across a frozen lake and discover a sparkling Ice Palace! In an original winter tale, Mila, Flurry the snowflake and their new friend Pip discover how kindness and dancing bring music back to the kingdom. Children explore posture, balance, gentle turns, flowing arms and waltz rhythm while learning one beautiful, simple Ice Palace Waltz. The camp ends with a short in-studio family observation on Wednesday.
